My Flexible Fee Schedule:
I’m basically semi-retired, and not looking to grow a consulting business as in the past. However, I do need to stay active, intellectually challenged, and add value to others receptive to being helped.
My focus these days is on giving back as a way of honoring others in my career who have given so much to me at key times in the form of mentoring and sage counsel. To facilitate this effort, depending upon the complexity of the assignment, I currently offer my services on a flexible-fee/ability-to-pay-basis as long as I’m paid in advance.
Naturally, I reserve the right to choose which assignments to work on based upon intellectual challenge and interpersonal chemistry with the client.
Specialized Veterans Resource:
I believe veterans, past and present, are a valued and vital component of our communities. I’m a veteran myself (USMC 1959-1963), came from a military family, and was blessed with great veteran mentors throughout my life and career. Having someone with a similar background and career aspirations was critical to my career success and I want to pass the torch to others in hopes I can make a difference in their lives also.
To carry out this mission I’ve made my self available to collaborate with the local La Plata County, Colorado and San Juan County, New Mexico Veterans Services Officers, the Veterans Relations Representative of the Colorado Work Force Center to offer my services to mentor and counsel veterans who own their own business deal with strategic marketing and business growth challenges. I offer my services on an ability-to-pay-basis. In some cases to collaborate on some issues the most it could cost you is lunch or a cup of coffee.
Additionally, as a member of Fort Lewis College Professional Associates I have developed a veterans relations program designed to help veteran students deal with transition, academic, and career development success challenges. I currently serve as the Co-Advisor/Mentor of the FLC Veterans Club.
